The short answer is… no. We use Focused shockwave for the treatment of one type of ED – Vascular ED. One of the main causes of ED is a reduction of blood flow into the penis. Shockwave has very good success rates as it generates the growth of new blood vessels. This makes it a good treatment for a weak erection. It is also non-invasive so you can continue with your day with little or no side effects after treatment.
Just a word of caution: Vascular ED can be an early sign of heart disease as the small vessels in the penis can show symptoms before any other area. It is therefore very important to talk to your doctor and get your heart health checked. We can still treat you, but this needs to be addressed first.
